Happy Holidays y’all!
We are stoked to be playing this Wednesday before Thanksgiving at the Craggy, and then Saturday at the Bierstube for the Pray for Snow Party! Our bad ass bass player and singer Chris will be moving on to another project in 2013, so make sure you catch one or all of our last 3 shows together in the next few weeks. He will be missed! We are very happy to announce our two newest members, Tina Bertram and Dan Brua! Tina rips on banjo and keyboards and has played about 10 of the last 15 shows with us. Dan is going to take over for Chris on bass in January of 2013. We are super excited to keep this ball rolling and to play for many old friends and many new friends in the upcoming year!!
Summer is in full swing and we are really looking forward to the next couple of months. In two weeks, we play at the Craggy after Keller Williams plays at our own Depot Park, and the following day we open for Kyle Hollingsworth in the park!! August 25th will be a great time with 20 Grand out at the Stillwater Bar, and camping is allowed. On September 2nd, we are very honored to be a part of two different shows. First, we open for the Montana Band in Whitefish at 2:00 in the afternoon! Then, we head over to the Northern that night to open for Trampled by Turtles!!! On September 22nd we play with Russ Nasset and the Revelators out at the Compound in Olney. Hope to see you out and about and thanks for the continued love and support!!
Our first studio album “Sunday Bacon” is in production and should be here at the end of the week! We are having a CD release show at the Craggy Range in Whitefish on Friday, March 16th. Hope you can make it! Also, we are playing at the Bierstube on Monday, March 19th from 5:00-7:30. It’s for the 2nd annual Ski Patrol FUNdraiser to help raise money for avalanche awareness. Come and support our Ski Patrols! At the end of that week we are heading to Moscow, Spokane, and then Bitterroot Brewing in Hamilton. Hope you enjoy the new album and hope to see you soon!
Happy New Year Everyone!
Looking forward to getting after it again in 2012. We have finally finished recording everything and are getting the album mastered in January! We can’t wait for y’all to hear the finished product in March after a year-long process. So far, we have 8 shows booked for this winter and are always working on more. Can’t wait to see you all soon!
Fall is here and the larch trees are in peak season. We have had a very busy summer and are finally working on our album again. The goal is to have it completed by the end of the year, and we are very excited to be making progress on it. You won’t be disappointed. We have played about 75 shows this year, and we have had an amazing time together! 2012 is going to be even better- all aboard!
Here we go! Summer is here and we have been around Montana the last few weekends. The newly remodeled Cube at the Stonefly is made for music and we loved playing there. Two nights in Livingston followed along with a visit to Yellowstone. Can’t wait to go back to Livingston… It’s a cool historic town, and the people are great! Last weekend we played at Love Your Mother Earth Festival and the Cannabliss Cup and met some good folks along the way. It has been fun, and we are really looking forward to West Yellowstone this weekend and Idaho next month! Hope to see you all soon- Peace
Moonshine Mountain had a fun weekend at the end of April with two shows followed by a solid afternoon in the studio. We recorded nine tracks at Snowghost Studios in Whitefish. We are very happy with how everything turned out and will be releasing our debut album in the next couple of months! Meanwhile, we are enjoying a few weeks off before the busy summer schedule starts. Can’t wait to see you all soon!
Well, we are not looking forward to the last day of the ski season, but we are looking forward to hangin’ out with everybody and playing at the Bierstube the last day of ski season. What an incredible winter- our best in six years with an amazing 140-inch base and we are still not done yet!! We will be hiking and skiing well into June at the resort and all this snow is going to make for an awesome summer on the rivers.
Moonshine Mountain will be hitting the studio hard in April, and we hope to be releasing our debut album in June or July. With twenty shows booked so far through the summer we plan on staying busy and bringin’ it to you all! Looking forward to seeing you all soon and thank you for your continued love and support!! Peace
Well, March brings change every year. This year it has brought us another killer bass player! Our brother Mark is staying busy with another project, and he will play with us once in a while when he can. We are extremely happy to announce our new bassist, Chris Arndt, from the Pedactor Project in Bigfork! We are very fortunate to have him on our team, and we know you will all feel the same.
We are also very excited to announce we will be playing the Top Hat in Missoula on March 26th with Portland shredders, The Dust Settlers! It’s gonna be a pickin’ good time as they will be playing three sets and we will play two. Our good friend, Eric Gates, will be joining us. We hope you can make it as many of you will already be in town for the Railroad Earth show at the Wilma on the 25th!
We would also like you to know that we will be playing up at the Bierstube on Monday, March 21st, from 5-7. This is a ski patrol fundraiser and proceeds will fund an Avalanche I training course. This course is very important to all backcountry enthusiasts. Come on up to the mountain to support this cause and show our ski patrols some love!
